Created in 2010, but just released via Partizan is a new short-film titled “8” by Aćim Vasić. Synopsis of “8″: In the depths of a snowy forest in an unknown wartime, two soldiers from opposing armies try to outwit each other in a perilous game of cat and mouse – until they find themselves outplayed by destiny.
Aćim Vasić is definitely a new director to put on your watch list (you will understand why after you watch his new short), he has figured out how to combine war and comedy and depict intensity through minimal speak and a cast of just two actors. It’s summer time now (as of today), so since your typical Wednesday night television is out of the question, check-out this well crafted 10 minute film.
