An OCTV Fairytale (directed by Andinh Ha)

To celebrate the release of the new Opening Ceremony Book published by Rizzoli, the Opening Ceremony team has released a short video to commemorate 10 years in the business. Director, Andinh Ha cast child actors to tell the OC story – making a ridiculously cute and of course stylish short-video. A fairy tale of how the founders built their enchanting fashion empire from it’s small scale beginnings to a chain of stores in key cities across the globe.

This video shows pinnacle moments in the brands genesis and development from the introduction of the two founders Carol Lim and Humberto Leon at UC Berkeley and highlights of their frequent collaborations with artists Chloë Sevigny and Spike Jonze among many other special cameos. Yes, not only does one of my favorite companies know great fashion, but they know great storytelling too!
