‘Curiosity’ Mission to Mars

On August 5th at around 10:30pm the NASA rover called Curiosity successfully landed at the Gale Crater, planet Mars after a 154 million miles journey. The main aim of Curiosity is to see whether the environment of Mars once held “the ingredients of life” and so Curiosity will drill into the rocks and soil and analyze the samples it obtains. In honor of this fascinating achievement in space exploration: The Film Artist has created this celebratory video we greatly appreciate (images courtesy of NASA’s Mars Science Laboratory mission).
