Embrace the Remix

Nothing is original, says Kirby Ferguson, creator of Everything is a Remix. From Bob Dylan to Steve Jobs, he says our most celebrated creators borrow, steal and transform. Kirby Ferguson explores creativity in a world where “everything is a remix” in his most recent TED talk. While we agree creativity stems from inspirations and often times is just an edit or a remix to something already been done, we still believe that creativity comes from within, because it takes that creative individual to internally drive themselves to make it happen and to #dreambigger. Do you agree with Kirby Ferguson’s statement? “Creativity comes from without, not from within …. we are not self-made, we are dependent on one another and admitting this to our selves isn’t an embrace, mediocrity, derivativeness; rather it’s a liberation from our misconceptions, it’s incentive to not expect so much from ourselves and to simply begin.” – Kirby Ferguson -
