Legend, a 12 minute film that takes you on an epic visual and aural exploration through Iceland’s breathtaking landscapes during the time of the midnight sun. Shot over a 2 week period in June 2012 when the sun barely sets below the horizon, so you never see complete darkness. It was filmed completely in 5K resolution using Canon full frame DSLRs on motion timelapse equipment from Kessler Crane. Legend captures the colorful aesthetic nature of Iceland, from the floating icebergs, to the definitive outlines of the mountains of Landmannalaugar, the breathtaking sunsets on Snaefellnes Peninsula and the barren volcanic landscapes of Askja. A soothing and mesmerizing travel documentation, so surreal (watch in HD full screen) this short-film is Discovery Channel quality.
