LoopLoop Video

LoopLoop is a 5 minute video looping through Montréal, Québec. Using animation, sounds warping and time shifts this video runs forwards and backwards – like the title suggests it will throw you for a loop. This video takes us on what feels like a travel through time, but per Patrick Bergeron (the creator) this video is intended to portray the way memories are replayed in our mind – which actually does make sense if you watch the video and then close your eyes for a few minutes and try and remember what you just saw.

We wish the full 20 minute version was on Patrick Bergeron’s Vimeo, but it’s not – so you can go to dubcopy.com and download it.

Software used: Shake, Soundhack, Finalcut, perl.
