Metro

Metro, is a film made by young director Jake Wyatt and group of his friends at Brigham Young University Center for Animation. The film has recently been released online after a run on the festival circuit. Yay!

Jake Wyatt says in his bio – I draw comics and movies for fun and profit. I’m happiest when drawing for both. You can see that this project has a lot of comic influence (no dialogue) and that the story (while short and simple) still has a climax and an ending worth sticking around for (like you hope most movies will have). The strong art direction and color design in Metro, makes this animated short film a beautiful story about a young girl chasing a fox through a wondrous underground world. Enjoy and be sure you stick around for the payoff at the end.
