Mr. Brainwash: Life Is Beautiful Art Show 2012

Thierry Guetta, Paris born, Los Angeles based filmmaker and street artist known as Mr. Brainwash aka MBW first came to the world’s attention as the star of Banksy’s Oscar-nominated documentary Exit Through The Gift Shop. Since 2008 he has been painting our city streets with famous artistic and historic images; Madonna, the Beatles and Kate Moss to name a few. In 2012 his colorful hearts and the phrase Life Is Beautiful took over Los Angeles. Thrash Lab felt there was something to be said and more to be revealed on Mr. Brainwash then we all assumed we understood him as, after-all he is a street artist who has sold millions of dollars of art and can decorate a 100,00 square feet spaces for art shows in in Los Angeles, New York and London. Take an intimate look at his ritualistic mantras and pre-show behaviors before his Art Show 2012 in Los Angeles. You will see how Thierry Guetta is endearing, scarily energetic and a master at creating hype. Watch Mr. Brainwash “push the limit” in this short-documentary …
