OBSOLETE

We recently featured a short-documentary on the cassette tape and now we are going to get even more nostalgic on you and taking you back to the days of the floppy disc. London based emerging artist, Nick Gentry is painting portraits in a non-conventional form. He works with outdated and obsolete media like cassette tapes, VCRs, 35mm film and floppy discs. He re-purposes the materials of the media forms to form his own art. Check out this project called Obsolete made using floppy disks and other outdated media formats.

See the gallery of his paintings on PSFK.
