A Skateboarders Perspective of Los Angeles, Filmed Entirely From a Moving Vehicle

QUIK, a collaboration between The Berrics and Quiksilver, follows Austyn Gillette as he skateboards through some of LA’s most historic neighborhoods. Captured entirely from a moving vehicle, this Colin Kennedy directed short film gives the audience a new look into the world of street skating.

In a city best known for traffic and movies, it’s about time the two met in a cool, fresh way, sprinkled with some slick skateboarding tricks for good measure. Filmed over 10 days throughout the east-side and downtown neighborhoods of Los Angeles, the team patiently waited out busy intersections, ornery tenants, and curious tourists to secure the perfect shot.

Take a look behind the scenes of the film shoot here.
