This is a beautiful black and white animated short film, inspired by the Edgar Allan Poe quote. Saskia Kretzschmann’s use of only black and white feels very unique, because it seems very trendy to be creating colorful hallucinogenic-like animation features at the moment. This film is the result of Saskia’s work in the 5th semester at the Anhalt University of Applied Science. It was a solo project and the conceptional work, the creation and the implementation of the animation took about three months for her to complete — her time has paid off.
