It turns out that after 26 years since the 3rd movie: Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome, the role of Max Rockatansky will be reprised in a 4th installment by none other than Bane himself: Tom Hardy.

Not much has been divulged as to how exactly Mad Max: Fury Road will fit in with the original trilogy, but at least 2 movies: Mad Max: Fury Road, Mad Max: Furiosa and a possible 3rd are slated to come out starting next year.
