USC’s Architecture Students showcased their amazing work early this year at A+D fundraising gala Celebrate: The Wearable. The USC architecture students were given the task to explore generative detailing through the making of a jacket using anything but fabric. Judy Lee, one of the many creative leaders featured at the Celebrate: The Wearable gala has documented her work process and shared with us an instructional video on how to design a jacket out of the dots a hot glue-gun drips. If hot-glue-gun dotted jackets hit the runway this fall we won’t be surprised, since the outcome is actually a really rad and wearable jacket. Watch Judy Lee’s documentation of her jacket creation – it will inspire you to get crafty.
